Welcome to Kaiella Designs – Where Creativity Meets a Little Bit of Chaos!

Hello and welcome! I'm so glad you've found your way to my little corner of the internet!

I'm the face, hands and slightly chaotic brain behind Kaiella Designs, a small handmade jewellery business based on the beautiful Sunshine Coast, Australia.

I'm a mum of two soon-to-be teenagers, a wife, a household manager (apparently an unpaid position!), and I work a regular 9–5 job. Throw in a neurodivergent brain that has approximately 47 creative ideas running at once, and naturally, I thought, "You know what? Lets turn my hobby into into a business!".

And just like that, through plenty of late nights, hard work, caffeine and a questionable amount of multitasking, Kaiella Designs came to life in 2023, while finishing off a diploma!

What started as a creative outlet and a love for making something beautiful from scratch has grown into something I never imagined. I've always loved art, experimenting with different materials and creating unique, one-of-a-kind earring pieces that you won't find in your everyday jewellery store.

From colourful polymer clay earrings and resin jewellery to handcrafted sterling silver designs, every piece is thoughtfully created by me, right here on the Sunshine Coast. I love playing with colours, textures, mixed media and seasonal collections, often taking inspiration from nature, customer suggestions and whatever creative idea my brain decides to throw at me next!

But the absolute BEST part? Seeing someone out and about wearing a pair of earrings I've made! Or hearing the lovely compliments and conversations at local handmade markets. Those little moments honestly mean the world to me. They're what keep me going, learning new techniques, improving my designs and putting even more love and quality into every piece.

I'm constantly dreaming up what's next, with plans to expand beyond handmade earrings into unique necklaces, handcrafted sterling silver charms and rings, all created from scratch. Because apparently my brain hasn't quite figured out that there are only 24 hours in a day!

Quality, individuality and sustainability are important to me. I carefully select materials including polymer clay, resin, wood, sterling silver, gold and stainless steel, and use recycled materials wherever possible. I don't believe in mass production. I love that each handmade piece has its own little personality, just like the person wearing it.

Behind every order is a real person juggling work, family, washing piles, teenage chaos and a genuine passion for creating beautiful jewellery. Some days are organised, others are held together by coffee and good intentions, but every piece is made with care, patience and a whole lot of heart.
